Great Art Doesn’t Match the Sofa

This was the scene recently at The Villager, as recorded & captioned by friend and fellow Camera Codger John Spates, showing some of my work hanging above a sofa. While certainly nobody suffers under the delusion that my work is Great Art, I got a real kick out of this and thought I'd share it. Thanks, John!

The Villager is owned and operated by the inestimable Betsy Schmiechen. You can visit in person at 429 E. Grand Ave. in Beloit, call them at 608-365-6077, or visit them on the web at http://www.villagergallery.com/.

You can see some of John's work on display at The Villager as well, and find more on his website at http://homepage.mac.com/drjohn/.

Oh, and if any of my work does happen to match your sofa, please do feel free to purchase it anyway!
:^D

  1. Thanks, Mark! Display and sofa are both courtesy of the aforementioned Betsy Schmiechen at The Villager.

Always good to have you stop by – feels like we’re virtual neighbors! :^D
