Lake Superior Ice Caves 2009 – part 2

Here’s the first image I’ve processed from a quick shoot the other day. We had some great fog in the morning, so I stopped by the same park where I took this shot almost a year ago. I found a few compositions that struck me, so more to come in the near(ish) future… – Jack

These were shot at Little Girl’s Point in the Michigan U.P. in early October. This is one of those spots that offers so much more to the senses than I can show in a photo – the larger waves sent water splashing into my face (and the camera’s lens!), a crisp wind blew the scent…
