More Photos From the Old Northwest Territory
From 1787 til 1803, the land now comprising the states of Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, and part of Minnesota constituted the Northwest Territory of the United States – more info can be found on Wikipedia at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northwest_Territory. “Old Northwest Territory” just has a much nicer ring to it than “Wisconsin – Illinois Stateline Area”… :^D
These are more photos taken between Beloit, WI, and Galena, IL, some on the Wisconsin side of the border and some on the Illinois side. They're a bit more pastoral than my usual work, but the scenes caught my eye and I thought it would be fun to do something different. Please leave a comment below to let me know what you think!
